Ocean of opportunities is meant to reflect on the vast number of opportunities and possibilities during Camillo Eitzen’s 125 years history of servicing a small portion of the worldwide demands for safe transportation of goods at sea. Some opportunities were taken and acted upon, many others were not. Of the taken opportunities, some proved to be a success from early on, whereas others at a later stage, and some were not successful at all. The latter however, could often lead to new previously undiscovered and exciting possibilities. All experiences derived from the accumulated activities, have been contributing to our corporate knowledge, our heritage.
We want this anniversary and this book to give tribute to all employees, past and present, on board the vessels and on shore, for what has been achieved, and to document the platform of our future.
